UTZON MUSEUM FREDENSBORG
The museum itself is located in the community building, which also contains a restaurant, function rooms etc., used by residents and guests on a daily basis. In other words, this is a living museum where you can get a true sense of how Jørn Utzon’s concept unfolded.
Please note that the Museum is closed on Thursday 27 July and 3 August.
Displays inside the museum trace the story of Jørn Utzon, his philosophy and his visionary, original architecture. The choice of building materials and construction elements further bear witness to Utzon’s deep connection with the essence of the setting and the opportunities the landscape offered.
We also offer visiting groups the opportunity, by prior appointment, to enter an individual house and experience the architecture from within.
